Name: Betrayal (Haunting Emma #2)
Author: Lee Nichols
Genre: Mystery, Fantasy

Rating:

Emma Vaile is the most powerful ghostkeeper in centuries. Which is great when she's battling the wraith-master Neos, but terrible when she's flirting with fellow ghostkeeper (and soul mate) Bennett. When ghostkeepers fall in love, the weaker one loses all power, and that's not something Bennett can handle. Heartbroken and alone, Emma tries to lose herself in school with fellow ghostkeeper, Natalie. When a new team of ghostkeepers arrive-one a snarky teen
boy, the other a British scholar-Emma finds solace in training for the battle against Neos. But as the team grows stronger, they are threatened by an unknown force. One they thought was good.
As chilling and page-turning as Deception, this sequel will grab readers and hold them to the last page. No one is safe from suspicion as Emma closes in on the traitor

REVIEW:
I don't know if betrayal is better than Deception or not. Tough Tough. What I do know is that Lee Nichols keeps making some GREAT books, I really liked this one though, maybe more than the first. In here Emma's life along with ghosts gets better, she gets more powerful and is more like the original Emma as the days go. Challenges are crossed in her path and she must make an important decision about her relationship with Bennett. In here, you don't know who to trust, your choice goes back and forth. Lee manages to get you confused but not a lot so that you would give up, its the right amount that will just keep making you read a little bit more. I loved this book and I loved reading about Emma's progress, about her similarities with the original, about the ghost keeping authority and about Neos. GOOD BOOK!!

The Good: I just love the story about Emma's ancestress!

The Bad: If you have read it, or are just starting reading the series, you will have to wait a while to get to the third book since it is just gotten out :(
