REVIEW:

I was so excited when I saw this book was waiting for me to pick it up at the library. I just could not put it down when I started reading it. In here, Amy and Dan continue trying to find all Vesper one wants while trying to figure out where the seven hostages are being kidnapped at. Not only do they have to do that, but they also discover there is a mole between them, and they later find out shocked who the person is. They also have to deal with the death of one of the hostages and without them knowing, maybe another death. They start to understand that nothing is as it seems, or really nobody is as they say they are.Amy and Dan have a hunch Isabel Kabra is underneath it all. Anyway it is now or never, Dan keeps wanting to find out about his Dad's link to the vespers while Amy goes into a trance and crumbles. He takes charge and makes the decision that will either save or endanger it all, he drinks the serum.

REVIEW:

How can I begin to describe this book in the series. One word- BREATH-TAKING. I cannot begin to express the emotions one feels when reading this particular book. To start, I just LOVE how close Harry is with his friends, even when they were fighting because of the locket horcrux, even when Ron left, he came back and they helped each other out. And I just love how much Snape helped them without them realizing who it was. The fact that Snape's patronus changed to a doe because of Lily Potter is just......WOW. I just cried SO much when he died. And Snape's memory was AMAZING. Just writing about it makes my heart race, it was just amazing. I cried for hours when he died along with Fred, Moody, Dobby and Lupin/Tonks. It was such a mess! J.K. is a GENIUS. I loved how Dumbledore was always with Harry even when he was so lost and doubting Dumbledore's orders and past. Just amazing, AMAZING. How can anyone not like this book?

Name: I am Number Four (Lorien Legacies #1)
Author: Pittacus Lore
Genre: Spies, YA

Rating:
Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books - but we are real.

Our plan was to grow, and train, and become strong, and become one, and fight them. But they found us and started hunting us first. Now all of us are running. Spending our lives in shadows, in places where no one would look, blending in. We have lived among you without you knowing.

But they know. They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England. And Number Three in Kenya.
They killed them all. I am Number Four.

I am next.

REVIEW:
I am number four is the first book of Pittacus Lore. And let me just say what an AMAZING writer he is! I absolutely loved everything about this story! I loved the whole mysteriousness of LORIEN, and how the chosen ones get their powers. This book was so fast paced and filled with adventure, John is one of the few chosen to one day protect Lorien and Earth from the evil race Mogadorians. They were once known to have a planet just like Lorien, but they destroyed it by their carelessness. They already destroyed Lorien, now Earth is next and the Guarde are the only ones that can stop them. One charm does protect them, they cannot die out of order, and 4 is next, he must learn to run away while he gets his powers or legacies. This book is about John's survival and how he learns to obtain his powers while Henri, his cepan, keeps them alive until the day they must fight along the rest of the Guarde. I saw the movie and I thought it was short of this book. There is just no other. :D I do hope they continue the movies though! I do know that the series just gets better and better!

The Good: This is an amazing story, plus I love that Pittacus Lore is the Great Elder in the book!

The Bad: The ending.....I cried.

Name: Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus #3)
Author: Rick Riordan
Genre: Spies, YA, Mythology

Rating:
Annabeth is terrified. Just when she's about to be reunited with Percy—after six months of being apart, thanks to Hera—it looks like Camp Jupiter is preparing for war. As Annabeth and her friends Jason, Piper, and Leo fly in on the Argo II, she can’t blame the Roman demigods for thinking the ship is a Greek weapon. With its steaming bronze dragon masthead, Leo's fantastical creation doesn't appear friendly. Annabeth hopes that the sight of their praetor Jason on deck will reassure the Romans that the visitors from Camp Half-Blood are coming in peace.

And that's only one of her worries. In her pocket Annabeth carries a gift from her mother that came with an unnerving demand: Follow the Mark of Athena. Avenge me. Annabeth already feels weighed down by the prophecy that will send seven demigods on a quest to find—and close—the Doors of Death. What more does Athena want from her?

Annabeth's biggest fear, though, is that Percy might have changed. What if he's now attached to Roman ways? Does he still need his old friends? As the daughter of the goddess of war and wisdom, Annabeth knows she was born to be a leader, but never again does she want to be without Seaweed Brain by her side.

Narrated by four different demigods, The Mark of Athena is an unforgettable journey across land and sea to Rome, where important discoveries, surprising sacrifices, and unspeakable horrors await. Climb aboard the Argo II, if you dare.

REVIEW:

I cannot begin to explain how much I LOVED this book. First, I just LOVE how Leo and Hazel have so much in common and how in touch they are even if they just met each other! I do have to admit that I did not like it when Jason and Percy fought because all the time I was only thinking that I wanted Percy to win. I can't help it, I am Greek all the way! I really felt uneasy when Jason and Percy "clashed" when being the leader. They are similar and different at the same time. I loved that the whole book, even if it is told in all the 7 point of views, is mostly about Annabeth and Athena. I just loved the real reason of why the Greeks and the Romans don't get along and how they do not like Athena or children of Athena. It was so interesting! I was very worried about Nico though since he was the bait, but since we know the title of the next book, chances are it would be about him or Hazel. Overall the book was AMAZING and I can't wait for more! My favorite book so far!

The Good: This is the best book EVER. I just love anything related to Athena!

The Bad: I cannot WAIT for the next book. It feels like such a long wait!.

REVIEW:

OMG. I LOT of things happened in this book. So many that I do not know which are the most important of them all.

First: Zach REALLY loves Cammie
Second: Mr. Solomon may not be who he says he is
Third: Blackthorne Academy seems.....fishy
Fourth: Things are more dangerous than ever

I really enjoyed this book. Cammie believes Mr. Solomon is in the CIRCLE, who is trying to kidnap her. Not only that but she is not allowed to be alone ever again. She can't get out or use any of the secret passages. Plus they have to figure out Mr. Solomon's mysterious message and finally figure out who is lying and who is saying the truth. And because Mr. Solomon's mysterious past somehow connected to blackthorne and Zach, Cammie must choose who to trust while in the Eagle Eye of Mr. Townson, the new CoveOps Teacher.

The Good: This book has the most action yet. Plus quite a few explanations!

The Bad: Worst cliffhanger EVER
