Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus (#5)

 

The end! Blood of Olympus is the finale of the Heroes of Olympus series and it is action packed! Percy and Annabeth make it out of Tartarus with the help of a "former" titan (amnesiac) and manage to reunite with the other demigods in time to battle Gaea. The prophecy stated that "to storm or fire the earth shall fall' and that is exactly what ends up happening between Jason (storm) and Leo (fire). 

Unfortunately, it means the "end" for one of them (or at least a mysterious ending that ends up in an island). Reyna, the praetor of the Roman camp, has a lot of problems going on. She must find a way to calm Camp Jupiter because they start fighting the Greeks in confusion. Both camps must find the way to work together and the the Athena Parthenos statue in place in order to save the camps! 

This book is basically "The Last Olympian" but to another level and much closer to an "Avengers...Assemble" moment! Definitely worth it and the best book of the series!!!
