Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters (PJ#2)

 

Hello!

The Sea of Monsters is one of my favorite books in the Percy Jackson series! 

In here, we have Percy's best friend Grover missing after having led a quest to find the God of Nature, Pan. However, it leads to Luke (Percy's ex friend) who is obsessed with returning the Titan Kronos to power. This is all because Luke cannot forgive his father Hermes for leaving him with his crazy Mother (who tried to be the oracle but failed). Luke wants to get the Golden Fleece in order to restore Kronos' coffin. However, Camp Half Blood needs the fleece in order to save Thalia's tree (daughter of Zeus who died saving Annabeth and Grover and was made into a tree) which protects the area from monsters. 

Percy must fight Luke for the fleece, a fight that is part of the Great Prophecy which states a child of the big three will reach 16 against all odds and either save the world or destroy it. But who is the person that can save or destroy Olympus, could it be Percy?
