The Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero (#1)

Hello!

We are continuing with the next installment of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series! These books are amazing and really take it to another level with the introduction of roman mythology.

In the Lost Hero, we meet Jason Grace, a roman hero from Camp Jupiter who has amnesia and is mingling with Greek half bloods Leo and Piper. Things get complicated when Jason portrays his powers and we are informed he is a Son of Jupiter, Roman God of the Sky. Even more so when we learn that Thalia Grace, Daughter of Zeus, is his big sister! But how can siblings be Greek and Roman?

In this book, we learn about the differences between Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood, the romans are strict, serious, and warlike. While the Greeks are much more lenient, relaxed and friendly.

Jason has another big problem though, he can't remember about Camp Jupiter. So he, Leo and Piper must go on a quest to Canada in order to learn what happened to him and find Percy Jackson....who is also missing.

Jason sees things in Roman form and we meet a lot of new Gods and Goddesses in both Greek and Roman forms. It is very interesting! And even more so, Leo has a rare fire power from his dad Hephaustus while Piper is a rare charmspeaker thanks to her Mom Aphrodite.

And even more, a lost metal dragon that can only be fixed by Leo Valdez thanks to his pyrotechnic abilities isn't so bad, right?
