Quidditch Through the Ages

Following up on this mini marathon of "Harry Potter" themed books (culminating on the actual series shortly!), we now have "Quidditch Through the Ages"

This book is an excellent resource of learning about Quidditch and its rich and interesting history. Its origins are fascinating and J.K. Rowling provides us with a lot of information on the evolution of Quidditch throughout the world. Filled with a lot of comical experiences, the book does a great job at teaching about the sport and provides great insight for the "Harry Potter" series.

I must say I wish there could be a mini series or something that explores these "side-along" books now that the series is way done. I believe a lot of people would appreciate it learning more about "Hogwarts" and about the HP world. Just like "Fantastic Beasts" was remade into a movie, maybe they could do the same with this book one day.

The only thing is that the book is a little more dry than the other two side along books (Fantastic Beasts & Tales of Beedle the Bard) as it is about quidditch only. However, it keeps the attention well and it is fascinating to learn more about the history of the game as well as its impact on the world.

Overall, I give this book:
