Amy and Dan are really getting used to life & death situations lately. This time it is in Egypt, after having found Katherine Cahill's clue that stated "Al Sakhet" (the Egyptian goddess), they find themselves surrounded by new challenges. Amy and Dan discover that cousin Irina (the Russian ex-KGB agent) is on their trail. However, they meet Grace's best friend and her grandson Theo who help them not fall into the hands of fake statues

Theo and Hilary (Grace's best friend) provide the siblings with the REAL Sakhet statue which can only be opened by them. The statue leads them to Hatshepsut's tomb and after some serious frights in a dark tomb, they figure out the Ekat's clue. However, it turns out that our new friends are not exactly great and Amy and Dan must work together to battle not only the other Cahill branches but also betrayals and lies. 

In the end, Amy and Dan find out that Uncle Alistair Oh faked his death so his uncle Bae Oh would not find him and kill him. Go figure. Amy and Dan find the next clue and the next adventure to come with the help of Grace from the beyond. 

I love Egyptology so this book is one of my favorites in the ENTIRE series!
