Hogwarts: A History of Magic

 

Hello!

Today we have a few books in the Harry Potter universe that are companions to the main story! 

For starters, Hogwarts: A History of Magic (Not the Bathilda Bagshot version haha) is full of wonderful writings from Queen J.K. 

In this book, you'll find everything about everything. J.K. goes into detail about all the classes (my favorite are potions, charms and ancient runes/arithmancy) and how she initially wanted things to be. She also talks about the professors and the characters as well as gives us a lot of information we did not know before. 

This book is an excellent resource for those who are trying to increase their knowledge on the magical world of Hogwarts. It is as essential as "Hogwarts: A History" (recommendation from Hermione Granger) but for the muggle world. 

Overall, the book is entertaining and it fuses all the mini companion books on the Hogwarts classes into one big compilation with interesting stories and amazing notes and images.
