Percy Jackson & The Sea of Monsters Graphic Novel

Hello, everyone!

Here we have the "Sea of Monsters' graphic novel for the Percy Jackson series. One more book and it'll be it!

I had this review ready before but forgot to post it so the order is off :)

The Sea of Monsters is one of my favorite books in the series because we see Percy grow and get accustomed to his powers. And the travel by boat to the sea of monsters is the perfect environment for the Son of Poseidon.

In Sea of Monsters, we see the monsters Scylla and Charybdis represented and I was not disappointed! The scene when Percy and Clarisse with the crew is intense and I absolutely enjoyed it.

In this novel, Percy must tag along with Clarisse in order to find Grover who is trapped by Polyphemus. Grover pretends he is not a satyr so he does not get eaten and Percy and others arrive just in time. However, Luke and his army are also in the island but not for Grover but for the Golden Fleece. Luke needs that fleece in order to raise the Titan Kronos but Clarisse fulfills her prophecy and flies to Camp Half-Blood with the fleece. This is important not just so that Luke does not use its power but also because Thalia's, Daughter of Zeus, tree is dying and monsters are on the way to the camp.

This book really catapults Percy to think of the Great Prophecy and his role in it. He must choose whether to fight Luke to save the camp and its defenses. Percy also must come into terms with having a half-brother in cyclops Tyson. Not to mention the fact that perhaps there is another child of the Big Three for the prophecy....
