Hello everyone!

Here we have the fifth volume of the 39 Clues series! 

This one is one of my favorites because it is about the Romanovs and the Grand Duchess Anastasia and Rasputin. So yes, our favorite siblings are heading to an impromptu visit to Russia! 

Impromptu because it all happens so fast and they find themselves having to follow the clues trail without their au pair Nellie and only trusted adult. Not to mention their pet cat Saladin!

But they have more issues to worry about like how Cousin Irina is following them. This book really has a lot of character development for Cousin Irina and the Holts family because we find another side in all of them that is not easily known. And it really makes you like them, it is strange but in a way the clue hunt shows the worst traits of the Cahills but also the best at times. 

Amy and Dan find quite a revelation while following the steps of Anastasia Romanov and more Cahill family members to discover!

Overall, the book was excellent and exciting. The quest in the motherland was amazing and I love how the clue ends up being so obvious that it makes you want to hit your head on the wall because it was there all the time.
