Eclipse (Twilight #3)

 

Hello!

Eclipse is probably my second favorite book out of the Twilight series because it is action packed!

Bella and Edward have decided to be together and all the crying and moping is gone. However, Victoria is super mad at the Cullens for having killed Laurent and James. So she plans an attack through the means of a newborn vampire army, thanks to her "lover" (but really pawn) Riley. The Cullens cannot allow this and they seek help from their enemies, the wolf packs, and Jacob Black in order to defend Bella and her family. 

We see the rivalry of Edward and Jacob in full color as each of them does their best to be protect Bella, at times one being better than the other. Naturally, Bella just wants them to stop fighting as she loves them in different ways. Back in New Moon, Bella learned about the wolves and could not stop being around Jacob because of his warm nature. But she loves Edward. 

The fight is intense and we get to see the extent of Jasper's abilities from back when he was in charge of Maria's army in Texas. It is an awesome fight scene!
